We know that some companies may offer many different services or they sell into several different industries. This can lead to news articles, social posts, and other content that isn't of value for you and your team.

To set up filters follow these steps:

  1. Login to Your Newslever Dashboard: https://app.newslever.com

  2. Click the gear icon in the top right corner and select "Manage Content Filters" from the dropdown menu.

  3. Click "add filter"

    1. Select the organization you'd like to create a filter for

    2. Choose a filter target

      1. News only: the filter will only apply to news articles

      2. Everything: the filter will apply to everything on the dashboard (news, social, ads, etc.)

    3. Add the positive and/or negative keywords that you'd like to filter with.

      1. Positive keywords: Word(s) that must appear alongside this organization to narrow down your tracking. For instance, instead of seeing all content about Microsoft you can only allow in content that contains "Healthcare" or "Cloud computing." If you enter 5 separate words, only one has to match for the content to be allowed through.

      2. Negative keywords: Word(s) that cannot appear alongside the organization. Content that contains any of these keywords will be excluded. Perfect for filtering out unwanted topics or regions, in case you want to see all content about Microsoft but specifically want to exclude if it mentions Canada. If you enter 5 separate words and any of them match in the content, the content will not show.

    4. Click "Save" to confirm your new filter(s).
