The Metrics dashboard introduces several new scores to help you better analyze news and social media performance. Here’s a breakdown of the new scores by section:

News Scores

  • NVI (News Value Index): A scale of 1-100 measuring the potential importance of a news article, considering factors like topic, frequency, website authority, and potential reach.

  • NI (News Impact): A score of 1-100 reflecting how much media attention a company has received compared to others on your dashboard, based on article volume and story relevance.

  • Reach: Estimates the maximum potential reach based on site visitors during the selected time period.

Social Scores

  • Engagement Score: A sum of social interactions (Likes, Comments, Shares) for a social media post.

  • SVI (Social Value Index): A score (1-100) comparing a post’s engagement to past posts, helping you see how a post stacks up against your own or competitors’ posts.

  • SI (Social Impact): A score (1-100) reflecting your total social impact for a time period, comparing it to other companies on your dashboard.
